Her mother was a homeopathy doctor and dad worked in RBI. Just read about her on Wikipedia.

Just here to say this reinforced my belief that Alia is best in slice of life/realistic genres than grand showcases.

Her performances in Udta Punjab or Dear Zindagi or Darlings >>>>>> her performances in Raazi or Gangubai..

Strictly my personal opinion.

Also Shefali and Vijay were both perfect in their roles and the movie was engaging and fun
