Jugjugg Jeeyo is overated, only Kiara Advani steals the show!

Watching this movie now, it is very painful. 😒 Kiara was the only cute thing about this movie. Varun, Neetu, and even Anil Kapoor overact! KJO is so regressive. Did anyone like this piece of cow dung?

I liked some if the plot but the film dragged

I liked anil manish and kiara the most

Agreed kiara was the best thing abt the film

The male characters are literally buffoons throughout …lit dosent make sense why such gorgeous educated women would fall for them

And that writing on the abs part *cringe*

I stay away from Varun dhawan movies. He is the sole reason for me not watching most of his movies. Still I started watching it with super low expectations coz VD always overacts so much but I was pleasantly surprised. It’s not a great movie but it’s a decent watch.

I liked some of the dialogues relating to marriage and relationships and tough times. Varun was actually okay in this coz they made Manish Paul overact . Anil was good.

I thought Neetu’s character Geeta was the most interesting one for me but I feel Neetu wasn’t a good choice for it. Idk some other actor could have added a lot to the character.I don’t like Kiara and she was average in the movie.

I didn’t like the overuse of that loud ting-ting punjabi comic music they play all the time to let audience know it’s a comedic scene. I mean, can they tone it down a little?

Kiara was the best thing in the movie? She barely had a role. Manish Paul in a much smaller role than her was better

Kiara was doing what she does best -being a flowerpot and making the rest of the cast look good. Other than some woke and feminist dialogues(which didn't sound organic and seemed to be written simply for the purpose of uplifting the independence of women) she had nothing exceptional to do- except just be there. Give her role to a seasoned performer like Kareena or Priyanka or even Alia and see the magic. Kiara was strictly adequete. And that's it. And the poor writing especially the Canada portions let the film down.

Anil was the scenestealer. I loved how adroitly he manipulates the whole family while being selfish to the core and thinking that he can get away with it. Neetu too had one good scene -ie the bench scene with Kiara. But that's it. Varun was giving a rehash of his Badrinath ki dulhaniya character - naive but thinks that he's smart. But he was allright in the role, just like Neetu.

the ending was so melodramatic and I just couldn't get with it. Varun stopping the marriage and the whole drama after that.. too serial-ish. and a lot of it was just token feminism. but I did like the scenes between kiara's character and neetu. kiara was decent. so was neetu.

Less said about the men the better.
