Well the Hindi version itself did 200cr+ business.
Well I think producers made lot more than what they expected and must be pretty pleased.
nobody knew any actor connected with kg1 or bb1 when they first came,
kgf 1 was against zero, now in retrospecet we cant say they are big movies, they came against all challenges
same for pushpa, it came during covid
also announcing a sequel is very risky, 1st film has to work well enough for sequel to be made, and then they have to deliver to the high expectations
if 1st flops , this is not HW for sequels to happen
jagga jasoos 2 never got made
if only making sequels is enough to get money then bhool bhulaiya 2 should also should have much bigger hit then bb2 or kgf2 , karthik aryan is definetly a bigger star than what prabhas or yash were in their parts 1s
finally content speaks, great content film in hindi will also hit the jackpot, directors who focus on content and not jackpot will hit it
People are tired of seeing the same talentless people in the same monotonous movies

RRR(Hindi Version) did 200+ cr in business on the hype of BB2 alone. People went to see another masterpiece. That much business it collected on the goodwill of S.S. Rajamouli alone.
3 films from South & we have discarded the whole Bollywood because it can't match the South?
Where was the South when Sholay came, Mughal-E-Azam, Kranti, MPK, HAHK? Did we belittle the south as their films can't do business like 15 cr in 1975, 74 Cr in 1994?
Till date, HAHK's 7+ Cr footfalls isn't broken by any film, be it bollywood or South or any other region. Bahubali 2 could manage to cross Gadar's footfalls which were made in 2001.
Difference between today's mocking of bollywood & South success is that, Pan India has welcomed South films with whole heartedly, while we have tons of trade analyst which have always said that Hindi films don't get bigger business in South.
Out all 300+ Cr grossers aren't getting that much business from South, while South film DUBBED in HINDI, this has to taken in consideration that they didn't make film in HINDI, they made in their own language then dubbed it is collecting so well PAN-INDIA.
Why discriminate against against Bollywood now when we haven't done it to South films. We film lovers haven't done it, Bollywood might have done it I don't know.
Sooryavanshi, 83, Prithviraj were all big movies. Let’s see what happens this year with 2 upcoming Khan movies - LSC, KEKD
When does KEKD Release?
Original scripts
more payment to genuine writers to get good stories
lesser nepotism
better looking actresses having Indian appeal (just like the one in 90s Madhuri, Juhi, raveena, etc)
Passionate PRIVATE producers unlike CORPORATES who makes film like factory products
Authentic Indian melodies..lesser western influence and Punjabi's ballay ballay shaawa shaawa tunes
No remakes
above all PASSION for making timeless real HINDI films
I'll tell you how. Dharma and YRF need to go bankrupt. That's how.
Bring good music… I don’t know what is the last song that I actually loved in Bollywood..all are shitty remakes or average music…same Arijit in every boring song…Good story…. no original story…..but above all none of these actors, specially actresses don’t have any screen presence…no star power…so bland…..the khans,HR,Akki(over exposed killed his impact),DP,bebo,Kat,RS,RK…only these are bearable,..then you can imagine what pathetic conditions Bollywood are in…for example I don’t watch anything after discovering KDrama…ohh lord those are beautiful….kdrama is awesome 😎
