Looks like he himself is not convinced with the plot, hence the half baked acting.

The VFX and cinematography look good. I don't like they way the trailer was cut up, it was weird. The acting looks meh for now.

Alia’s acting was better than ranbir in the trailer

Flat. Didn't feel excited or rather anything. Alia is acting pretty badly. VFX was okay. Maybe, after seeing so much Marvel, VFX is looking just okay to me. Moon Knight & BB2 come to my mind when I think of trailers that were interesting. Amitabh was good, Ranbir okay. I am glad to see Mouni in a mainstream , massy movie after Gold. Hope she acts convincingly & uses this opportunity well. She is looking good in the trailer. Wish the trailer had a scene of Dimple Kapadia if she is there in the movie.
