Let's say that a 16/17 or "insert any minor aged" girl did take advantage of a man to get ahead in the game. I would say that qualifies as abuse of power by the man and straight up desperation by the girl ... as a means to an end. Who are we going to hold responsible down the road? Minor's can't give sexual consent anyway as a matter of law. You can scorn her too but the man burdens much more responsibility than her.

You also need to keep in mind that sexual harassment of women is a widespread problem across the industry and the perpetrators are usually the top producers/directors with authority/power.

Forget society being biased to the man -- we're pretty far from even a level playing field right now. If a woman claims that she was sexually violated or physically assaulted or both, it deserves a close look without maligning the woman's character or shaming her. It doesn't matter whether she's someone you like or dislike. That's where PZ's sick statement comes in -- it's just another way of saying, "They were asking for it, but I wasn't" 🤢

it has not been about liking or disliking. They are some women who do offer themselves. Pz 's statement is tone deaf in some sense but i also think she has a point. Every woman is not 'abla nari'. Woman is just as much responsible for herself as the man. If not ,then under age women should be banned from working in the industry. Any industry for that matter. No girl should be allowed to act before18 or maybe 21 years of age and all roles they do should be under their parent's supervision. Parents/guardian should be present at all times since they cant take care of themselves and are not "mature" enough to "understand" things.

MEN IN POWER POSITIONS ABUSING THEIR POWER AND TAKING ADVANTAGE OF THE WEAK. But once humans realized there should be social Justice and empowerment, laws were made to stop these inJustices. POCSO laws, Domestic abuse laws etc were established to stop men from abusing minors and wives.

Casting couch is the same, there was consent from the girls side, but it was taken wrongly. Because the societal setup is such that the men is in power positions SO THEY GET TO DICTATE TERMS. You can say all you want that she did it willingly, BUT A GIRL ISN'T DOING IT WILLINGLY.There isn't a choice for her but to say yes to it if she wants to work.Where else would a girl go to act in films if not the film industry of her country. That is why there are Vishaka guidelines laws setup at workplace to stop men from taking advantage of women who work under them.

A woman might not get a divorce even after suffering from abuse for years. Then once she realizes she is being wronged, is when she goes ahead with the divorce.

A sexually abused kid will keep consenting to the act till she matures one day and realizes she is being wronged. Same with a woman who consented to sleeping with a man for work. Once she realizes she is being wronged, she dares to protest and you are saying she shouldn't?

girl who fell for these promises is stupid. And she should complain against him because marriage does not give consent for physical abuse or rape. My complain is against women who falsely accuse men of rape and harrassment after being in a consentual sexual relationship with them.

Disappointed with Preity. Unfair and insensitive statement that "people treat you the way you want to be treated"!😠😡😳🙄🙄. No one wants be molested or raped. No one has any right to touch your body without your consent. Just because she was lucky doesn't mean she needs to be a braggart and compassionless.
