Can I ask this here?
Aloo Bachhan Streep😎
You wrote in the post I quoted saying it's 'funny she is called a British actress when she has not worked in a single British project', giving an example of how DP is not. I gave you an example of Kat says the same and it's irrelevant since its wiki

That makes it two actresses who never worked in Britain being mentioned as "British actresses".
While Deepika who is born in Denmark is mentioned as Indian actress which makes sense. Both Alia and Katrina are Indian actresses born in UK/HK.
Celebrity wiki are protected for edits. U and I cannot edit their wiki. Their PR team can correct edits such if they want. 🙏

That's the thing I feel like they are referring to nationality and not the fact that they work or have worked in British films, its a bit ambiguous maybe but not incorrect. Like it would be weird if say for example *hypothetically* Jennifer Aniston was a Bollywood actress and not Hollywood. Like it would be weird if her thing read 'Indian actress' it would make more sense as American actress working in Indian movies I don't know 😆 open to interpretation I guess. Like Nora a Canadian actress I feel the protocol those wiki pages/PR are following is nationality.
@bold I actually didnt know that, pretty cool. But in that case I feel they would bother to change it if it was detrimental to her image or factually incorrect and technically speaking this is not incorrect if interpreted differently. They are British Nationals workings in the Indian film fraternity.
Also I think Deepika is still an Indian national (I'm not sure) so maybe that's why whereas those girls have British/Canadian passports
Deepika is born in Denmark but she has an Indian Citizenship.
Alia on the other hand is a British Citizen and holds a British citizenship. (Dunno if she is born in India or London) .
Alia has not given up the British Citizenship coz India doesn’t allow for dual citizenship.
Shame that she is working and living in India but doesn’t want to give up British citizenship and take an Indian one

Jennifer Aniston as Indian actress is sounding weird because it's preimposed in your brain that she is American actress. Had she made her entire career in Indian films calling her Indian actress would have been fine.
Also If she first acted in Hollywood and then started working in Indian films even then it would have made sense to call American actress working in Indian films .
Similarly had Alia and Katrina worked in British films then it would have made sense to say British Actresses working in Indian films.
My God... essays...

I have a question, so based on this will Ranbir take-up British citizenship or will he stay with Indian ? Just curious 😆
