Well I would say it was the designer’s loss. Yami and her chiseled featured face with her tone body can make a lengha look at least ten times more beautiful. Not a lot of the nepotism muses have that ability. Probably one of the best muses a designer can find after Shraddha or Katrina.

nope I didn’t know this !

But it says he is Punjabi film director. That is not the same. Even some of the Punjabi A listers struggle for work in Bollywood. (In some ways that is a good thing). I don’t think the current it girl has anything she can offer Bollywood.

This isn’t even that harsh of a complaint. She’s not naming names. She’s making sure to say a lot of the designers are great to work with. She’s just saying some of them mistreated her. This is her second movie in about two months. She’s been promoting them and is obviously in the news so we’ll see more articles about her.

Why is she suddenly speaking up? I don’t know. Maybe her new life partner is very supportive and that gives her the confidence to stand up for herself. Maybe she’s suddenly in a secure enough position career wise to say something. Maybe something recently was the last straw and she’s done with all the B.S. But criticizing a woman for not being docile anymore is all sorts of cringe 😬

There was a discussion here a few days ago about her and Filmi Companion, and my take was she should be careful before directly going after an established industry entity like Anupama Chopra. The counter argument was she’s already doing well in the small production world and the big shots don’t offer her anything anyway so why should she put up with disrespect. And I get that. I still think she should be careful but I totally get her not wanting to put up with disrespect from people who will probably never change their minds about her.

Also, Is the story that KJo only wanted Hrithik on KWK and not her for Kaabil promotions true?

I want to apologize if I offended anyone with my docile comment. I wasn’t trying to insinuate docile is the way for women to be. I meant to say I was little taken aback by this sudden change in her personality. But like many explained it is understandable in many ways.
