Depends on how you define unkind.

It doesn't have anything to do with a proud display of anything though. Most of us tend to kick back and shed our inhibitions online and act more impulsively cuz the consequences of our words don't follow us in real. Doesn't mean that you should just steamroll everyone left and right for that reason but perhaps some do have unaddressed issues if they indulge in strange behavior. 🤷‍♀️

Yes at least online is a place they can be real otherwise most are double face where what is in their heart is not really on their mouth ..

Don't know about integrity but agree with character aspect. Definitely lack of compassion & if it is only the anonymity emboldening someone to be unkind, a certain extent of cowardness is present as well.

You are actually right. People can be mean and unkind for various reasons. Without knowing and understanding where they were coming from, how can you just outright pass such a harsh judgement about their character and integrity?
