The film released on Friday and in a city like Jaipur which is among the top ten centres for Hindi films this film had an audience count of 7 at a multiplex in a morning show and 2 of this audience walked out and in a another screen in the same multiplex Pushpa (Hindi) on its second Friday was being screened with an audience count of 133.

I think they especially hate Ranveer. I checked their Simmba articles the other day, just to make sure, and they have the same kind of vitriol there also. I didn’t even read this particular masterpiece because I figured it’s best to stay away from such garbage literary works.😆

What BOI is trying point out is, there's nothing wrong making movies based on legends and heroes, but try and make it engaging, entertaining, a movie where we all can connect and celebrate. 83 is like watching a TV documentary that would put anyone to sleep, its like we are watching a documentary where the pseudos' call it art, forgetting real art is the experience and engagement. Dangal, Lagaan, CDI like movies did well because it entertained as well as educated in an engaging entertaining way, 83 does non and just bores you to sleep.

This is so sad but the harsh reality is that people weren't simply interested in this film. There is no blockbuster song in the film, Lehra Do was decent but wasn't a hit at all. The trailer was badly cut.

The wave of Spiderman just killed the film. Ranveer Singh shouldn't be making mega budget films at all unless there are proven successful directors that have brand value as well.

I hope everyone takes a clue and stops making these bipics, they're very boring imo
