What a performance SARA .. Atrangi re was brilliant

Sara was so so good .. unbelievable.. I think she would get recognized at the award shows .. it was a very difficult character … she was so convincing .. best actress out of her lot for sure

I always liked her offscreen .. now loved her onscreen too ..

And the film was so unique :)

Dhanush was awesome and so was akshay

But for me , Sara was the highlight .. oh and she nailed the accent and body language of a Bihari girl ..

Right from the opening scene she is absolutely spellbinding... but then sadly the Bihari accent comes and goes...

And she shows her limits later on in the film, many times.Like when she's pretending that Sajjad is there when he is not, it's not convincing enough.

But she has shown in many scenes that she has lots of talent and I thoroughly enjoyed her performance. The role would have suited an actress with slightly more experience, she has lots of room for growth ahead.

I liked both her and Dhanush. she was the atrangi element

the scene where she was beaten up by her grandma I felt so bad

I genuinely thought she was great- not perfect but full of the spark needed for this crazy role. She has potential but like Kareena in her younger OTT days, she needs good directors who can teach her how to rein it in according to the pitch of the film. But since we were looking for the next massy heroine- she might be it.

I saw Anupama and Sucharita's reviews though and was surprised to see them being catty about Sara. Y so catty ladies?

She was good in the funky portions of the role. But hit and miss in the vulnerable & tender moments. Overall she did better than I'd have expected.

I find it kinda hard to believe this...but maybe she has drastically improved. Stranger things have happened!
