In all seriousness the kneeling might be for a set job, e.g. holding up a prop or something. Spot boys toil lot more for a pittance; and possibly star kids might be exaggerating the amount of hard work they have had to do (haven't read this article yet). I don't think it was for any punishment or woh sab.

First things first, there is no question that as human beings we have to keep collectively working on improving the working conditions. There is no denying that!

That said, don’t the teachers in India do it or at least used to punish the little school children for the smallest of the things? I remember getting caned just because I got late by a few minutes. I remember kneeling down along with my friends just because our mouths wouldn’t shut and the teacher thought humiliating us should fix us (though it never did, but it’s another thing😂 ).

And what about the Military Bootcamps all over the world? The worst place where there is no concept of ‘human rights’.

I am obviously not endorsing such behavior, but just stating that there are still people who would want to be in the place of these star kids who get such easy access to the top directors.

In all honesty, it’s sounding like his own version of ‘struggle’. 😂

Military boot camps are explicitly structured to tear you down and build you up again as a soldier, sailor, whatever. That is the purpose of the job they do. There is no human rights violation involved provided rules are followed.

A military with watered down training will be of no use to any country.

Children don't sign up to be abused. They certainly shouldn't be caned! Such teachers need to be beaten with the same cane IMO.

I hope this practice isn’t encouraged anymore in India but growing up it was quite normal at that time. We never even shared it at home because more than physical hurt I remember it being extremely humiliating, even at that tender age. :/

It's a horrible practice. Teachers should not be allowed to do this 😡

Not just teachers but also the Parents. They don’t realize how much it will scar the children to be put through such humiliation.

There are rumors of SLB being into BDSM but he shouldn't practice that on set. Esp since there are no safe words
