I think these kind of shows have OTT craze. All my flat mates used to watch this show.. and everyone around my age was excited (which is why Is rare for itv shows). Young people want to watch winget and her shows. But we didn’t watch it on tv.

The only shows that are hit are long running saas bahu dramas and most of leads don’t have fan base. Diya and Baati had highway TRPs for the longest time but I still don’t know name of the leads (I used to end up watching cuz if my grandmother though). 😭

I don’t think the leads are that famous or have that much of a fan base either. The fact that people fight so much for Jen and KSG is because they are relevant. For Karan, I think marriage has changed him.

KSG is not relevant anymore. He almost vanished like a year ago. His career is almost done and sinking. Also, people are shocked to his see his current behavior when he is acting like a psycho. IPK when it was first launched wasn’t typical run on the mill soap and was genuinely good. Which is why it enjoyed massive popularity. No one even knew Barun before that. Content and channel also matter else later versions of ipk would have been popular too. People were dying to see ipk with barun but the third part was so bad.

Geet and IPK was popular at the time, I was still studying and no one ever talked about itv shows generally but these 2 shows were talked about. Madhubala may be popular but I still done know anyone irl who has watched it.

IPK3 - the attire and effects gave me a headache. Even Barun couldn’t make me watch the entire thing 🤣🤣

The make up and styling of actresses was atrocious. 🤣🤣🤣

I still can't fathom why she decided to show adhvay as this bahubali cum superman. The antagonist and the premise was decent (not as atrocious as current itv) but the execution the less said the better

What is KSG better for now? Only better at Bipasha’s dog and a mental patient. Only fans of him calls her flop Winget but even his real fans got to know his reality. DMG was his only relevant show that his fans are still milking. Other that, he had not done any relevant work. Now he became a real monkey when Bipasha calls him monkey.

Even if he's nothing today he still had a better career than Winget in both films and television. So suck it up!
