What kind of 'people'? How well-connected are they? And why would Priyanka agree to be someone's beard at the cost of her own image? It makes no sense.

Also, if you're bisexual, you don't need beards since you can have sex with either gender. That said, SRK can be bisexual. Heard rumours of him having a fling with Arjun Rampal.

Male models would remove KJo from the running otherwise I totally believe KJo would have been a willing partner. I've heard rumors on this forum about Gauri and Siddharth so it would be interesting if that is really just a front for SRK and Siddharth...especially since I have also heard about KJo and Siddharth.

Not sure where you got this starry eyes thing from, but neither of those women showed anything remotely resembling stars in their eyes when they worked with SRK.

Nor did Kajol. Or Madhuri or Manisha or Urmila or Suchitra Krishnamoorthy. They were his contemporaries (except Aish who acted like she was bigger than all of them) and generally treated him as an equal.

I'm an SRK fan, but this attempt to make into a male version of a siren who was irresistible to every woman around is patently ridiculous. In the context of your post, it elevates Kajol into something she never was. She was the only one , the strong one, the equal, who was able to resist his charms. 😆 Thereby, of course, suggesting the reason behind the headline 😆 was her disinclination, not his not wanting to.

And no, I don't find Kajol ungraceful or ugly. But her values and humor, the traits you claim SRK found attractive, seem pretty pathetic. Arrogance and bratty behavior? Even her own mother said that about her. SRK himself said on KwK he wasn't that close to her. She was a reasonable looking young woman, with more screeching power than acting skills, who was helped a lot by her association with Aditya Chopra and Karan Johar. Yes, she vibed well on screen with SRK, so I would any day watch a semi-decent SRK-Kajol film (not from Rohit Shetty).

The affection SRK's female costars expressed for him came from the respect he showed them as the actresses themselves said. In a patriarchal and misogynistic industry like Bollywood, that surely came as a breath of fresh air.

The starry eyes started with Rani and Preity, but at least Aish was an exception. From the PC generation on, it was all starry eyes with his heroines. That had more to do with superstardom and aura.

And yeah, from KJo, too. But KJo admitted it was hero worship along the lines of a younger sibling.

I dont want to talk about the anomaly she has turned into post her marriage and that horrendous makeover...Now I just skip her videos unable to bear her brash talks and rude demeanour..She is not even a shadow of herself with all the pooja-padh, karwa chaudh vrath, doormat-ish traits and non ambition. Its one thing to be having a lackadaisical attitude towards clothes/makeup..but to be so disrespectful towards ur so called passion ,ie acting is so off-putting. I dont relate to her 1 bit nowadays

But I dont think she was always this obnoxious...SRK said he didnt like her when he saw her first but gradually they did get close...their friendship was at peak during KKHH...they are nt besties like SRK-Juhi...But like SRK said, they have a good bond that lasted even without constant outings or phonecalls..You have wrongly assumed that I insinuated Kajol resisted SRK's charms...nothing of that sort...SRK wud have never dated someone of her intellect or ambition. I just said he seemed to have genuinely enjoyed her company in 90s..just like he did with Karan and Juhi..He also said he adores her ability to give so much in love and remain committed considering how selfish ppl are normally. I dont think he keeps saying these things frivolously for promotions...some thoughts went behind it..Its offensive to think SRK of today's stature needs to fake praise kajol.

I havent followed her much so cant confirm it...though in some pics before CC incident, she looked smitten...or maybe thats her staple expression while posing...Juhi might not have liked him in beginning but as time went by I felt she developed a great deal of affection. Yes starry eyes probably a wrong term to use for Juhi..mostly affection, care and lil possessiveness..

I dont consider SRK a siren, but he is class apart in BW thanks to his sophistication, education, intelligence, wit...I can see why women flock to him over the regular uncouth and unclassy lot of BW...Its my opinion that he gives weightage to a girl's vivaciousness, humour, energy over looks...I havent seen him caring much about the so called beauty if the individual is as interesting as paint drying otherwise...Dp is pretty but her personality is no match for PC...This is just what I believe...this forum would never agree as I had seen from its opinion polls 😂

I was around during the 90s when DDLJ became a hit. The nation was ready for a change and for heroines wearing clothes that regular girls wear, talking normally. Rangeela became a hit partly because of the same reason. However, unlike Urmila, Kajol had industry insiders promoting her and a Jodi which clearly worked well on screen.

90s Kajol was arrogant, too, but she didn't behave as though she was better than everyone else. It was not like now where hardly any of the female actors can act. Madhuri was not great, but she was a mega star. Juhi was lazy as all out, but she could outact Kajol. Manisha was fantastic, better than most of the rest. Sridevi was on her way out but was the full package. Karisma was giving hit after hit. How would Kajol possibly pretend she was better?

But she was always rude with fans. The line between honesty and bad behavior is thin, and she crossed it many times. She also behaved badly with people she considered intellectually inferior, something her own mother said about her in a fond way 😆in one of the magazine interviews.

The comments which came from Kajol after the 90s have been incredibly arrogant. The remark she made on KwK about not being able to pass for a poor person was incredibly nasty. The skin whitening is another. It's visible to all. How does this all square with her image as someone who never put value on looks? She just spun her supposed negatives into a positive during the 90s era, that's all. Smart move, but not really indicative of her not placing a premium on externals.

Kajol is ambitious but reading romance novels doesn't make her intellectual. And I can't really see why you would make the remark about SRK not dating someone of intellect and ambition. That his wife never needed to work is a diff matter.

Believe me I'm not an Aish fan or a Deepika fan or a PC fan.

I like a few of Juhi's movies and think she was kind to an actor few others gave a chance to despite her making rude comments about his looks. I mean, there have always been many to call themselves a superstar's friends but few to ally themselves with a newcomer with unconventional looks and no connections. But she is colorist as heck and extremely insensitive about what women go through in the industry.

I don't follow Aish much, TBH. But I do know she was with Salman during the time she worked with SRK.

I just said that SRK's contemporaries never acted as though they wanted to romance as was suggested. It's not as though the Kajol was unique.
