Salman between 2000/2009 in not a great phase of his Carrer did 30 films while srk did Just 12 film in his not so brilliant phase . But if you look at srk Great phase with Salman Great phase you can see that srk between 2000/2009 did 22 film 4 bb 7 flop Salman in his Great phase between 2010/2019 did 16 film and 8 were blockbuster 1 all time blockbuster a Just 1 flop. So Salman at box-office Is a bigger star. Salman in his best phase Is bigger than Srk

Obviously SRK has had it worse. Salman had more flops because he did more films and even did small roles in films for friends. But overall he still managed successes like No Entry, Partner, Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyu Kiya in that bad phase and critically acclaimed films like Phir Milenge in which he became first mainstream Indian male actor to play an HIV/AIDS patient. That was a huge risk but he still did that film.

Even his flops like God Tussi Great Ho became popular on TV if not at BO. He was popular in music videos, ads too.

And was still young so that phase did not affect him much.

SRK's low phase is worse because he does look old, he has aged, has less chances of comeback as main lead hero, no film of his has succeeded like say, Tere Naam, Maine Pyar Kyu Kiya, No Entry etc. His most recent films are duds both critically and commercially except perhaps for that Zindagi film with Alia Bhatt.

Biggest danger for SRK is that his attempt to reinvent himself or do something different from romantic stuff has failed. Raees did not do well.

And his romantic stuff with much younger heroines is no longer accepted by audience.

The failure of Raees and Harry Met Sejal says a lot about what crossroads he is at.

He has no hope of a Dabangg or Ghajini/3 Idiots like comeback either because others had low phase at younger age but SRK's low phase is at an age when he can no longer give ATBB or BB as main lead and would be lucky if he gets clean hit as a main lead.

It is worse for SRK. And if he keeps failing for 5 more years he would have no options but to do dad roles like Amitabh at 60.

SRK's brand value is still bigger than Salman's.

He has hardly 3-4 flops in this decade . Salman's flops are uncountable . Srk films always get bumper openings . His flops also do decent business .can't say same for 2000 Salman .

Also somewhere Srk just gave up and went on sabbatical

Salman never made that choice 👍
