Only some years ago, South Indian actresses were paid in lakhs when Bollywood actresses earned in crore. I still remember people calling Kajal greedy because she wanted to be paid more.

It's also one of the reasons that SI actresses all tried their luck in Bollywood even when they were top actresses in the South :

- more coverage

- better earning

- longer shelf life

- more diversity in terms of roles

Also, I take what her friend saud with a pinch of salut because she's her friend.

It is not easy balancing a career and family as a woman. Sometimes, women have to make choices and pick one. I hate that choosing family mostly gets applauded while choosing career mostly gets shamed. Can't we just accept people's choices and support them.

Exactly this ! People were still baffles when Kajol had her family early on when she was at the height of success.

If the couple got a divorce, it might be for irreconcilable differences for all we know as the couple didn't say anything. Not being on the same page anymore can happen especially when one had such a big success.

A couple can be very strong and fragile at the same time. If she wanted to start a family some months back and then wanted to go to Bollywood, then it might have created a rift who knows ?

Shahid Kapoor publicly said he wanted to work with her. He's one of the top Bollywood actors and seeing how people are liking her since Family Man, directors and producers won't be long before handing her roles.

This divorce reminds me of Amala Paul's who got one because she wanted to prioritize her career who was working better than ever instead of her family.

If Samantha manages to succeed in Bollywood, she might become a pan-indian actress.

Not just her friend, a member of the crew of her film is also saying the same thing. Even if her friend is taking her side, the director's daughter has no reason to lie about it!

Samantha never pursued Bollywood and always shied away from it at the peak of her career. Why would she suddenly get "greedy" now, when she is almost 35 and the scope of her success would be largely limited due to her age? At max she will be able to make a few crores from Bollywood movies in a couple of years. That kind of income she makes from Instagram alone. It makes no sense as to why she would get so greedy that she is willing to let go of her marriage and the Akkineni fortune which is probably thousands of crores.

Her last post on Chay was on July 9. On July 29, she dropped her husband's surname from her social media handles. Whatever happened, transpired between these twenty days.

Going by Sam's personal stylist, I think thing was already there, Sam got to know about it much later.

More than the separation, I don't know why I am finding it really hurt to accept that Chay has done something like that. I always thought he is a gentleman.

But I am curious to know about the girl..but I think we won't get to know about it anytime soon. Nag family won't allow it to come out. At the end of the day this divorce is a huge blow to their public image. I know there are many such divorces in their family but here Samantha is no ordinary girl.
