She was betrayed by the king. Mandakini died in grieve. Mandakini's daughter Nandhini and Shondara Chohan's son Aditya had affair since childhood.

In a war Nandhini's father / brother was killed by Vikram's role Aditya.

After Nandhini became a middle aged princess she decided to take revenge against Aditya Karikalan. She married a much older King Periya in his 60's in order to enter the chola kingdom. Periya was a treasurer. Nandhini used her beauty and charm to seduce her old husband. She just wanted to use him to destroy chola kingdom.

Aditya Karikalan still loves her childhood love Nandhini but he doesn't know how evil Nandhini has turned now. Aditya talks about his love towards Nandhini but she at last moment betrayed him like what his father did to Nandhini's mother Mandakini. She killed Aditya Karikalan.

Vandhiyadevan, the hero of the film and Aditya's best friend try to solve the murder mystery.

I am really excited to watch the film.
