Aishwarya needs a good Director only then she's able to act. Else she is very mediocre. No offense to any Aishwarya fans.

Ash is directors actor (that is what we call.. correct me if I am wrong). And her beauty is breathtaking

She was fabulous as Jodhaa. No other contemporary actress could have breathed life into the character as well as Ash did.

All she did was stare at the camera with blank face and expressionless eyes. No one could have given long, blank stares at the camera as well as Ash did.

Anyone tries to say that Aishwarya can't act, is expressionless, immediately people start gushing about her beauty. That's her only accomplishment. Being pretty. Even that is questionable now as she is too old and it shows. Ek zamana tha, jab she used to be beautiful. Now can't say.

The fans: Ash is the best actress in the history of Indian cinema, all movies in the world are offered to her, she is the first choice for all roles, she is the victim in every situation, everyone in the world is bad except her, everyone in the world should be sued, she has the most beautiful face in the world, etc.

Yes. And anyone who doesn't find her plastic looks beautiful is immediately branded as a hater and gets attacked by her fans. Beauty is subjective, if some people find her beautiful then it is their choice but there are many more who don't think she's anything special. Why do her fans shove her down everyone's throat as the most beautiful? No matter how hard you try you can't make people like her if they don't want to.

Fashion was a female centric film. Thats why PC won that year. That performance is not memorable. Nobody talks about PC in Fashion now but people talk about Aishwarya as Jodha. Aishwarya Rai won Screen Best Actress (Popular) & V Shantaram Best Actress for Jodhaa Akbar.

Aishwarya was going to win for Guzaarish but she was only given Zee Cine Best Actress Critics Award for the film. Nobody talks about Kajol in MNIK. She was more of a supporting role but KJo made sure Kajol received the award.

One of the very few movies where I found her tolerable and she did a decent job of it

Props to Ashutosh to making her work, and she did have chemistry with Hrithik here, as opposed to in D2 where she along with her hubby ruined what could have been a fun movie. Like, stop it !

Kajol has won many awards unfairly. There was no need to win for My Name is Khan and while she did a good job in Fanaa, it wasn't a Filmfare Award winning performance. For some reason Filmfare really seems to love handing out Kajol freebies and we are just lucky they didn't award her for Dilwale.

Poor Aish was robbed of two awards then (and that's not counting the National Award for Raincoat).
