I went to watch Neerja with a friend (first time an emotional movie with her).. I cried so much.. she was too embarrassed. 😆

Jokes aside. Real talk now. I don’t recall much of the movie but I really liked the scene where they first meet. The way he stares at her when he sees her face and his inner monologue. Omfg. Bruh. SRK has ruined me.

Also, I cry a lot in movies too. Like a lot lot. I’ll cry over an advertisement.

This is irrelevant.

Theater business DOES NOT MATTER to streaming companies. What matters is how many viewers will watch it on their services. Amazon Prime India only has like 10 million subscribers in India and Netflix has even less at like 5 million. Disney Hotstar has 34 million. SRK has no movies on the biggest streaming service in India.

The majority of views for Indian actors would be coming from outside India because that's where the subscribers are. That's especially true for someone like SRK who has NO content on the biggest streamer in India - Hotstar.

That's even more of a censure for movies like Laxmi which released on Hotstar this year because it shows what a true disaster it was. This is why Bell Bottom had to go to theaters because nobody would have wanted to buy it after seeing the fate of Laxmi. Radhe also came out recently and did badly but not as much as Laxmi apparently.

SRK and Preity were too good in this movie.

These kind of movies need as lot of intense acting. They acted with their eyes in the movie.

IDK why SRK gets flak from haters who don't like him that he can't act or does the same kind of stuff (which he obviously doesn't). But there is a reason why the romance genre did so well on the 90s and 2000s. It was because of him... you need to emote well.. actresses like Preity and Kajol were good too..

I think Jab tak hai jaan would have been very different had there be Preity or Rani instead of Kat. The storyline wasn't good in my opinion but good acting would have saved it and made it believable (just like we bought DTPH or KKHH).
