'Why is it that a wife must be happy just because her husband is seemingly perfect and happy with her? What if the woman finds love after finding this supposedly perfect husband? A man can find passion outside marriage no matter how attentive his wife is. But a woman doing the same is unacceptable.I think we need to salute Karan Johar for dealing with the very important issue of passionless marriages in urban settings with such maturity. I'm very proud of being in KANK.'



How cud Rani talk like dis?Even Aishwarya wont talk like dis.She must understand dat a person who cant luv a perfect spouse is heartless & cruel& luv is'nt only ganing,but also giving.Mayb she talked like dis 2 support her film.but the hero SRK who is karan's best friend admitted dat he was'nt comfortable working in dis film as its subject was uncomfortable & even told the ppl who like karan's family films shud'nt watch KANK

Is she trying to imply towards her 'affair' with Aditya Chopra? I mean he was married for a long time until he recently divorced his wife.

so according Rani to marriage is all about passion 😕 .never mind if you have a loving, giving perfect spouse...men and women have the right to look outside for passion 😕 ..

and that is maturity in an urban setting!!!!and you salute karan for that!!! and pray give us your take on marriage in a rural setting..what should the villagers do about lack of passion 😕

You know... I was seeing it from a very broad minded point of view but you put a total different spin on things...thsts true!!! She probably just said it just to get people off her back regarding her relationship with Aditya 😕

also the man that she went after in KANK was a father. that is a very important factor. at the end of the movie she gains SRK, but what about the poor kid who loses his dad.

I agree that not only SRK played another woman's husband but also a father. That made the situation loathsome. But that's what the story was about. No-one and nothing is perfect. Sometimes, shit happens! It is high time Indians learnt to stop being to touchy about these things. It is not half as bizarre as BRIDE BURNING, SATI and DOWRY that is commonly practiced in India. Also, no matter what we say in the forums, CHEATING on spouse is a behaviour VERY COMMON in asian countries. Time to wake up and smell the coffee. KANK is not just a movie. Although ending is different KANK happens all around you.
