Surekha-ji would be missed. She gave many fine performances but she has a fine timing for comedy. I remember her best as Emraan Hashmi's Dadi in Tumsa Nahin Dekha telling him to marry his rich scary fiancee and keep his girlfriend Dia Mirza as his mistress. I read an article in IF some time back during the first lockdown that her caretaker was requesting funds for paying for her hospital bills.

RIP to legendary actor Dilip kumar I didn’t get to say that in his thread, god bless him. Rip to surekha, I loved her in badhai ho, she was the best character on there, I feel like everyone became like supporting role and she was shining like a lead star. By far the best actress I have seen since she was so natural in the scenes.

Same! It’s shocking that after decades of work she still couldn’t afford a vehicle of her own.

I only remember her from Badhai ho and she was my most favorite of the entire movie. ❤️

This is very sad she was an amazing artist……one of the rare one we had in the industry. I knew her for dadi role and she was so amazing at it. Will miss her.
