Aishwarya question?

I'm kind of out of the loop on her since she's not really doing much. I know she didn't attend Cannes this year but has she gone back to filming Mani Ratnams film?

What? Cannes is underway. She's not attending.

On Mani Ratnam's film, 50 days of shoot is left which is going to be wrapped up in one schedule in Pondicherry with all cast and crew.

A couple of people I saw on Insta, but I wasn't familiar with their work. Now I don't even remember their names.

Sonam was at Cannes in 2019.

After that Cannes has not happened yet 😆

Her film Ponniyin Selvan is yet to be completed. 30% shoot will be carried soon. Aishwarya do far shot 50 days of shot. Another 50 days shots are left. This is very special film for her. She plays the main antagonist Nandhini role. It is the central character of the whole story.

Vandhiyadevan is Karthi. He is the hero.

Kundavai is Trisha Krishnan. She is the heroine.

Aditya Karikalan is Vikram. He is playing an extended supporting role. The story moves when he is murdered. Vandhiyadevan investigates the murder of his friend Aditya Karikalan.

Nandhini Devi is Aishwarya Rai. She is the villain but whether she killed Aditya remained a mystery. The entire story is about how she tries to destroy the chola kingdom with her team. She married a 60 years old king to take her revenge. She is manipulative and uses her beauty to fool others. Her ethereal beauty helps her to win over the hearts of many but not Vandhiyadevan.

Film's heroine Kundavai also disliked Nandhini immensely. She tried her brother not to fell for Nandhini but she couldn't save her brother.

Nandhini had her own reason behind her animosity for Cholas. He mother Mandakini Devi (Again played by Aishwarya Rai) was betrayed by king Sundara Chola, the father of Aditya Karikalan. So Nandhini since childhood built immense hatred for Chola Kingdom. Whether Vandhiyadevan let Nandhini to ruin the kingdom is the main story.

There is another role Arul Mozhi Varman (Jayam Ravi) which is not very strong role but it's the titular role. How he became Raja Raja Cholan is also important part of the story but this is not his story.

The film is about Vandhiyadevan, Aditya Karikalan and Nandhini.

Arun Mozhi Varman and Kundavai and other roles are all not integral parts. Just there to support the above three main roles.
