I literally said having the right opportunities is part of the problem. But some of them left willingly while still having commercial and critical success like Madhuri left after getting married (on a high note with Devdas). Aishwariya left for 5 years (on a high note with Guzarish). I agree stardom requires opportunities but it also requires consistency. And they've chosen to prioritize family and domestic life which is absolutely fine (I'd do the same tbh). But when the discussion comes up, we have to look at how many of these actresses are still actively working. You can't just disappear for 5 to 10 years and expect the same stardom or oppoerunities. Doesn't necessarily have to be romantic roles per se.

Gajaraj is hiding his age. He was in Dil Se, he'd be of SRK's age, since he didn't look someone in his 20s there.

I agree with her. Why can't she? Those actors should not be age shame when they act with younger actress. As age shaming is wrong. So she should be given the opportunity to act opposite these actors. The society mindset is wrong. I believe if we as fans tell our favorite actors to act with older actress, sooner or later, even they would have to agree.

I think they attempted it in Aandhi (1975), but both Sanjeev Kumar and Suchitra Sen weren't that old. In Basu's Life in a Metro, the short featuring Dharmendra and Nafisa was a mature romance.

Bollywood generally doesn't like that genre. It's amazing though. A movie like Amour is something they could pull off in a small budget.

Madhuri got married in 1999 and Devdas released in 2002. Madhuri worked in Devdas after marriage and she was pregnant with her first son while shooting for Devdas.

Guzaarish was a flop. Aishwarya acted in 4 movies in 2010 and all of them were flops. She had no offers after a disastrous year so she left to start a family.

Kajol is the only actress who kept working consistently after marriage and in between having kids.
