They had great chemistry tho
What you said (good actors != good chemistry) is actually applicable for Hrithik-Katrina.
Their "good looks" compliment each other but as co-actors they don't have much chemistry because of Katrina's limited acting abilities.
I agree that Amisha and Hrithik shared good chemistry in Kaho Na Pyar Hai but that's just about it.
No one remembers Hrithik-Barabara, and in what world was Hrithik and Kareena's chemistry BEST?
They brought out the worst in each other in every film they worked together. 😆
Hrithik-Aishwarya both have limitations as actors too, but they looked BOMBASTIC together and elevated each other's performances in all of the 3 films they did together. (Dhoom 2, Jodha Akbar and Guzaish)
They looked good in this ad too.

Having said that, I would love to see Hrithik-Kareena together once again, since both have matured now.👍🏼
I think Hrithik Aishwarya have tons of chemistry (despite Ash's cringe acting getting in the way of things 😆)..
And I like that the three films they did together, they had different kinds of chemistry in each.
In dhoom 2 it was all about glamour and hotness. I LOVE the scene from 2:30-3:00.. they look so good here 😳

Jodha Akbar is filled with great scenes between the two.... and may I say had the most "sexual tension" out of all their pairings 😆 (Have a look at the sword fight scene or the one where Jodha is secretly oggling at Akbar practicing fencing)
My favourite is Ethan-Sophie from Guzaarish though... Their chemistry was so soulful in this one.. and I loved seeing them in more mature roles. From Dhoom 2 to JA to Guzaarish it felt like a natural progression of Hrithik-Ash as an onscreen couple. I love that scene where Sophie stands up for Ethan at the court and the judge is like "Sit down, Mrs. Mascarenas" 😳
absolutely agree with you they are overrated because they are both considered the most handsome man in bw and the most beautiful woman in bw they are visually good but that's it not fire at all. Yes hritik and aishwarya had a good chemistry but nothing exceptional. He's better with Katrina and aishwarya chemistry with Salman was subtly sexy and scorchingOriginally posted by: mintyblue
Just because two people are both drop-dead gorgeous doesn't necessarily translate into good chemistry. There's a basic flaw in that premise.
Hrithik shares the best chemistry with:
1. Kareena
2. Barbara
3. Katrina
4. Ameesha
I feel his and Ash chemistry is overrated. Aishwarya looks the best with Salman in Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.
I know this is an unpopular opinion, as most people love their chemistry.
Thoughts??
No not overrated n with others in d list are over rated 😆
I don't know whether it's overrated or not but I have yet to see even one moment where I felt this chemistry. Not even in that really awesome, sexy sword fight scene from Jodha Akbar. Definitely not in the trying too hard to be cool dhoom 2. Chemistry is subjective though. So it's fine if everyone is not on the same page.
Absolutely NOT 😳
Granted that both are gorgeous people, there's still A LOT of chemistry between them. How can y'all not notice their magical eyelocks?! 😲
Won't talk much about Dhoom 2 because there wasn't a lot of scope there but there was great sexual tension there, especially during that scene where he teaches her how to hold a gun etc in My Name is Ali, the Russian Roulette scene (with the kiss) and this particular scene where they have a conversation after eating ☺️ And that bgm is beautiful <3

Edit: Watched this again and uff, how gorgeous are both of them in this movie
On the other hand, Jodhaa Akbar was absolutely dreamy and their acting wavelengths were so in sync that I couldn't for a second believe that they weren't falling in love and in love during Mann Mohanaa onwards. The little moments that lead up to their realizations are so dreamy, especially during Jashn-E-Bahara Like in the scene where he's doing sword practice and she stares at him. The way she looks at him, the way he knowingly teases her and his little naughty smirk when he lets her know that he knew she was staring☺️
And THIS song, my God ☺️ BEAUTIFUL.

1:50 - That part where she finally lets him touch her after all the build-up in the movie still makes my heart skip a beat. Actually the build-up is what makes it even more beautiful, especially since they unite after they go through separation and him almost dying just after she comes back to him.
And then there's the slight nervousness and anticipation at 2:00 and the bliss you see on their faces as they finally share a moment of intimacy
Aaaand 5:12-5:25 uff, my heart does somersaults, the yearning he has felt is palpable.
That's my favourite movie ever so let me shut up before I start writing a fanfic 😆
Their chemistry in Guzaarish is the most powerful imo. I've seen people say that there's no romance in the movie. I beg to differ and I'll say that I think that this is their most romantic movie. The romance lies in Sofia's devotion, her selflessness, her sacrifices, her protectiveness towards him (in that court scene, like someone pointed, where she vigorously fights for him), her care, without any expectations. In Ethan's helpless expressions and him giving all his efforts in attempts to save her from her husband despite not being able to move. In their banter, in their vulnerability. There's no physical contact and no definition for their bond, just pure love without words.

Something that I love about them is that they starred in 3 completely different movies and yet managed to have different but still good chemistry in all three. There's a lot of sincerity when they are together, and that's probably why they bring the best out of each other.
So no, Hrithik and Aishwarya are not overrated 😲
Agree, i feel she has better chemistry with SRK
Nope. They have among the best onscreen chemistries ever.
Esp. How they can go from hormonal bad guy hotties to mid-century Royals to an older Goan couple, and look absolutely convincing in every one of them.
SRK Kajol. Now THAT is what I'd call overrated.
In their last two films, MNIK and Dilwale, their chemistry was non-existent or just awful.
Hrithik and Aishwarya made even Dhoom 2 work despite its flimsy storyline. And they took it to another level in Jodhaa Akbar and Guzaarish where the story and screenplay were already great, and they enhanced it even further.
He is ugly and pretty average from all standards. Doesn’t look like a Bollywood hero material at all. I’m pretty sure he will flop within 2...
