that's not true. She very certainly did NOT refuse KHNH. She demanded higher pay while negotiating her contract and Karan disagreed and went and signed Preity Zinta instead. Here he clearly chose an "outsider" over the very definition of starkid Kareena coz she demanded a higher pay. Now mind you, she made these demands during the contract negotiations which is still professional, but Karan has the right to still make a decision and choose someone else who agrees to his fee. What Karthik did AFTER a signed contract is u unprofessional. What's the point of a contract then? This isn't a salaried job where a few years in you can renegotiate your salary. This is a project.

From all the tales it looks like an issue from both sides

KA trying to reneg his contract after significant amount of shooting is done. Then ghosting KJO in the name of Corona only to shoot another movie during Covid times is just really unprofessional

and KJO promising KA another project in lieu of better pay for Dostana 2 (which shouldnt have been reneg'ed in the first place) and then gifting that project to other actors is quite unprofessional too

Who comes off worse in this? KA marginally.

midway after they had box-office success😛, Bollywood aficionados might be in the know of it.

By offering Kartik Aryan a second film Karan Johar accepted that he had signed Kartik Aryan for much less than his market value for Kartik Aryan has not had a release after 2019. How can any actor's market value go up or down without release of any film ?

But why would Kartik Aryan sign any film for 2-3 crores when he considers his market value to be 10 crore 😵?

There is a possibility that Kartik Aryan might have signed up for a smaller amount because Karan Johar might have promised him more than one film😎, and Kartik Aryan must have taken Karan Johar's word at face value🤪.

When Kartik Aryan saw that Mr.Lele, which he was actually offered 😎and Yodha, which he had hoped would be offered to him, did not come his way, he might have become wary and asked Karan Johar to sign a contract for the next film he was offering Kartik Aryan👍🏼.

From that article it seems that Karan Johar ousted him after Kartik Aryan asked him asked to sign a contract before he starts shooting for Karan Johar's signed film☢️.

If there is any unprofessionalism it does not seem to be from Kartik Aryan's side😉.

Or all this might be a publicity stunt 😆 😆 😆.

Only time will tell of course but I also think Karthik is being short-sighted if the story is true. Part of the reason he went from being a Luv Ranjan boy to the next level is because Kjo + gang openly paid attention to him. Karthik clearly has no acting talent so I hope his fans and future movies are enough to sustain his success in Bollywood.

I wholeheartedly agree with you! Karthik was lucky enough to catch Karan's fancy (I'm not talking sex or anything lol) just like Vicky or Fawad before. He made Karthik in and it gave the latter opportunities to be considered in bigger projects.

Karan has the means to make an actor reach new heights especially when he likes them. One can just see how he created Alia despite her many deficiencies.

Karthik shouldn't have gotten pissy imo. He should have been more assertive here as Karan for all his flaws can be fair.

One can remember how he took Villain for Sidharth when it was supposed to be Arjun movie but he made up for it and gave him 2 States.

Karthik should try and mend his relationship with Karan. I think he can salvage the relationship because Karan doesn't seem to hold grudges for long.

Karthik won't be getting first picks but Karan might still call him up if they need an actor in a haste.

Exactly if you’re in his inner circle or just taken a liking for you, you will get the opportunities, he makes it upto you with some film or another. He hired Bhumi Vicky for Takht, And Kartik was getting maybe not in his most innermost circle but enough to get few decent opportunities just out of liking. Here Kartik has pushed the self destruct button with Dharma himself.
