She is probably one actor who disadvantaged from nepotism aka her association with Tiger. Sure she got contacts and networks due to her association with Shroff scion, but it also limited her as an actor, dancer and also downplayed her personality severely.

You are right, with good and projects she could have gone places after Dhoni, but then instead of exploring, she remained stuck with Tiger (Baghi) and opted for flowerpot roles (Bharat, Your most wanted Bhai, Malang being an exception). I'm not very sure about the impact and magnitude of her role in Ek Villian 2.

On top of that she seems to be content in diverting her creative energy into being Instagram sensation. Workout videos/pictures, bikini pictures/videos from vacations, dance videos and pics with Tiger (you are right as it is mostly hip-hop and b-boying)-- that is majorly her Instagram. Besides, she seems more interested in getting enhancements and losing weight instead of actually honing her acting skills.

I hope she introspects and bucks up. She is still young and can go places. Otherwise, first telltale signs of ageing and she will be forgotten like other item-girls.

any good director would know he can't act for sh!t, so character roles are out. And he can't dance anymore or even do convincing action (or even bend down from the looks of it). So masala entertainers are out too.

@bold, yeah thats also somewhat true maybe. But I dont think Salman needs to have excellent acting skills to make good movies. When put in a good script, he is actually decent imo.

But he seems to be stuck with Remo D'Souza and Prabhu Deva, or other loonies from his own household

Any of the younger actors would have killed this - Ranveer, Ranbir, Varun, Tiger, even older like shahid, Hrithik. To take a high energy song like seeti maar with a strong dancer like Allu Arjun and remake it in Salman in a time period when he basically moves like a sausage?
