People are born to serve themselves that’s why they think about themselves first.. be it Ankita, Rhea or Sushant. There are very few in this world who self sacrifice for others and they choose those professions that help them to help others... like army, rescue teams etc.. generally people work to earn and lead a good life for themselves.no one is doing charity here. Not sure why she is saying all this lol

Umm I don't exactly understand what you meant here by sacrifices.... My point was just that she is unintentionally being unfair to a person who is no more.. If She was too much invested in the relationship and made him center of her universe then that is on her.. If she regrets that then it's fine too but by saying he just left for his career ( without telling what lead to that) or how she gave up movies because she was building him.. She is giving very small part of the entire scenario.. We don't know why he left, what were his reasons and why she felt the need to not work.. Indirectly she has pinned entire blame on him and his career which is so wrong. It's unfortunate that she gets trolled for his death and people can't bear the fact that she has moved on with someone else but she should have addressed that instead of sharing that one sided story.

It was his contacts that got her the offers and she didn't even take them yet she blames the relationship for her failure. Even today she all her contacts are because of Sushant.. I remember Sushants interview post Deepika casting indirectly mentioning Ankita and the double standards against Tv actors and how hurt Anikita is that she is not getting movie roles.

From what I know it was more of an offer. There were many articles saying that she was offered the movie, she may have auditioned after she was called but she didn't herself go and fetch for these opportunities because she herself said she didn't want to work at that time.

But if she really lobbied for that role then it's a shame that she says she rejected it.

I am not sure about ankita but in general india and asia usually women are expected to givwe up career etc before or after marriage for family

Before marriage if family cannot afford to educate all kids bec of financial strain usually boys or sons education gets funded over girl or daughters

After marriage wife is expected to give up career and follow husband everywhere even if she has better job

Ankita may have stopped working thinking let me concentrate on future husband cum family. Usually girls do that once they reach 30 career no longer priority but settling down

Like in family elder son or a daughter is sent to work to support family while younger ones study more and pursue dreams at cost of that one sibling

Than once other siblings study and go up in life they disrespect same sibling whose salary they used to fund their education and hostel fees etc

This happens very frequently in family even now in india or asia

Of course nowadays gen is very clever and not like past to support family and siblings nbut some are still there who give up their dreams for family and than regret after wards

That’s ridiculous, someone ask her what role was she offered in the first place.

I am sure those will be side roles but considering how huge these movies are even that would have been good opportunity for her to make connections in Bollywood.. but she declined and now blaming it on ssr 😆 all she wants is attention

I'll never understand why people are willing to sacrifice their careers for others. Obviously, all relationships will require a certain level of compromise - but to constantly give up things is unhealthy.

It is a ticket to resentment. People make sacrifices and then expect their significant others to recognize and applaud the sacrifice. And someday it just blows up.

"I did x, y, z for you and you don't appreciate it/do anything for me."

"I never asked you to do x, y, z."

Don't give up things you want for anyone. Don't make any sacrifice or compromise without discussion on what it means for the relationship and what the expectations are.

Moreover, not everyone wants people who place marriage/relationship before career. People want equal partners in relationships. They want relationships to foster professional and personal growth. Tbh, the sacrificing woman is such a turn-off and downer.

Yes true and if you somehow made that "sacrifice" at least own up to it. Realize that it wasn't exactly a sacrifice but a wrong decision. Or maybe you never wanted that thing enough so giving it up wasn't exactly a sacrifice.

But why is her well wishers acting like ssr was the only guy she was with? I read on here before ssr she had a boyfriend who she broke up with and got into relationship with ssr, after ssr broke up than she is with her current bf for years before they were bf I heard he was friends with both ssr and her so she’s not like a single woman crying for that one lover she had. I know she loved ssr and it would’ve been nice if they were together but stop blaming that poor guy for the relationship. They broken up and both moved on to other people. She stopped working on her own terms, he wanted her to work. But it’s her choice to not work which I think it’s good to have a choice to not work or not.

No normal, sane person would take a stand for that vile family who changed medications without knowing (it's a crime).
