Won't all movies flop this way?

My Question to all the Box Office Experts here

Considering the movies are now daring to release in cinemas while the pandemic is still pretty much there..inc restrictions..limited sitting..limited cinemas..even if they have found some appreciation like say roohi or mumbai saga..the lifetime looks as low as 20/30cr

now this is being called a decent result considering the present situation but aren't verdicts given on budgets? and the budgets are the same as pre pandemic..they cannot be less..but collections are obviously..so how will they make profits this way? if a roohi or a mumbai saga are even made in as less as 30cr..collections of 20-25cr..despite being called decent..won't they still be flop films? and pretty much most movies since even 50cr seems like an impossible task now..

all will flop. more than sixty percent of crowd wont go to theatres until the pandemic is totally gone.

most of the big movies are going to exaggerate collections and rigorously promote but eventually they will give up. older people , kids and for that matter even majority of middle aged people wont take risk going to theatre.

Cases are on the rise in Maharashtra and vaccine distribution is still slow from what I understand. I wonder if there will be another lockdown and postponement of release dates again? Mumbai is a big market for movies isn’t it?

Most movies are losing money either way. So, what's the problem?

Think about it. The only bonafide superstar who's announced a theatrical release is Salman with Radhe. Akshay produces 6 movies a year, so it doesn't really matter. Sooryavanshi is getting mileage because it's the most commercially successful director coming with Akshay in his franchise.

Other legit stars like SRK, Aamir, and HR don't have any releases yet.

Either way, Bollywood sees over 80% flops every year. As much as the media likes you to believe that so and so is a star, so and so is talented, most of their movies end of flopping.

It's a risk distributors and exhibitors have to take. They're not gaining anything from these online releases.

And, big-wig producers know that they can win the PR game by releasing films online, but it's not sustainable in the long run.

Cinemas are closing again because second wave of covid has come so maybe they should postpone the movies to 2022 like Hollywood is doing 😕 this won't end anytime soon and is a risk for everybody.

Roohi has made handsome profits as per Komal Nahata ..Whatever comes from theatrical is just a bonus so makers are just cashing on this ..

how is it a bonus? when it releases in cinemas..entire profit and loss is based on threatrical revenues and verdicts as well no? since there is no deal with any OTT platform here
