The misogyny? 😆 Nevertheless, he is a star. A self-made one, too. I just don't understand public opinion sometimes.

The original film is just awesome...and will connect with Indian viewers,if made reasonably well.Director is good.Very relevant in today's times.

Loving angry responses though..from the same people who reviewed Gangu..

At least K earned this movie on his own merit and wasn't served on a platter. I'd anyday watch his bad acting over alu phugu chugus.

He deserve the same amount of acting insults as Arjun Kapoor. Arjun is better than him because at least he looks funny.

Oh mark my words....if this dreadful Kartik was actually a privileged star kid, then he would've been trolled even far more viciously than an Arjun Kapoor https://groups.tapatalk-cdn.com/smilies/57028/1536259085.6227-smiley.gif #hardcorefacts

Ah well...the perks of being an outsider in Bollywood has a lot of benefits...especially during the current climate Yawn emoticon

Isn't that the whole point? He is terrible in the teaser, but his success is entirely his own, so the trolling will naturally focus on his acting and not how he got the film in the first place. Someone like Arjun Kapoor has no success to point to as reason why he gets more films. The public's poor taste is to blame for Karthik Aryan, not nepotism. Karthik is truly an audience-made star.

Its amusing and amazing how out of the 3 tweets posted one belongs to Varun Dhawan fandom, one is from Ranbir kapoor fandom & from Aloo bhatt fandom😆

Karthik has arrived or what😆on a serious note the worst thing about the teaser was that lady with her cringeworthy "my star is back" line imo, KA seemed fine to me wrt context.

The ones infamous for bitching and moaning about unphairness towards samaaj ke maare, bechaare, ablaa naare industry kids😒

Atleast both ranbir and alia are way better than karthik in terms of talent. Specially ranbir.

Those 'perks' are nothing in front of the struggle outsiders have to go through. Let's not forget that.

If a privileged star kid gets trolled harder, it's because he had that privilege which an outsider didn't. You get more privilege, you get trolled harder. It pretty balanced actually.

Karthik Aryan getting movies even though he looks like a chhapari from Splitsvilla/ Roadies wannabe clan is an achievement in itself.

On a serious note: Even though I'm not his fan, this piece wasnt as bad as most of u are making it to be 🤷‍♂️
