Do you guys agree or disagree with this take on Shahid?

I just came across this post on Reddit...so please don't shoot the messenger!

There is something about Shahid that can make it difficult to work with him or just have a normal conversation with him I guess. I noticed that even during the Dil Bole Hadippa (many years ago) promo appearances that Shahid and Rani had. I thought she was perfectly fine, but he wore off a body language as if he was tolerating her, or as if she was embarassing herself. There is a bit of an arrogant vibe to him I think. He is quite sarcastic and appears to think he's the sanest around? idk.

Just offlate that he seems to appear calmer/maturer (probably after marriage and kids). But there is something off putting about him. A subtle air about him where he tries to put another down, just the body language / facial expressions says it sometimes.

Good points. However, during Kabir Singh promotions with Kiara, he seemed so happy and blissful 😆. I loved watching his interviews then, he was so chilled out and comfortable with her.

shahid is funny in his promotional videos, his promotions with priyanka were hilarious, when they were dating, when they weren't. and he gets along well with most all his heroines from Amrita Rao to Kiara Advani, Ayesha takia, genelia, shraddha, alia everyone. and I think he was the one to recommend kareena for udta Punjab, did rangoon with saif so doubt Kareena and him have any problems.

somewhere he seems he is fixed in his ideas but if he came up to stardom from a background dancer, I think whatever he does is ok, he survives in the supposed big bad world of bollywood.

Shahid kind of reformed . He was this Bitter Betty among his age actors .

Kareena breakup took a big hit on him and did not even try to hide his bitterness.

He turning all his girl friends into vegetarians like him is another peeve ppl have with him . I think he feels sorry for himself until Kabir Singh that getting a HIt has more to do with script selection than acting or anything else.

Or he is just very moody .

Yes, which is why I felt he's calmer these days - probably marriage and kids calmed him down a bit? Earlier he tried either too hard to appear funnier than the other, so would subconsciously give off a condescending vibe away, or he was just a kindred spirit or he thought too highly of himself.

His recent interviews with Kiara are good, yes. But he still shows glimpses of his old self in some of those interviews. The one with Faridoon, the one for a radio channel they did etc.😆
