of course. I don't like saying that because it implies that being gay is somehow an issue. We don't say "as long as he is a good actor" about straight actors. nothing wrong with being gay and it doesn't need to be justified in any way.

I'd say that about a heterosexual actor as well. For example, Ranbir who people dislike for his offscreen shenanigans. As long as an actor does justice to their work, nothing about their personal life should bother anyone.
