Sandeep Reddy Vanga- star director in the making?

Do you think he is on his way to becoming a star director?

He gives me the vibe of a Korean director. A lot of tricks up his sleeve.

Problematic as Kabir Singh was as a movie, screenplay and direction were top-notch.

And Animal teaser has got a tremendous positive reaction also.

I think there’s a segment who will always be against him cause I’d what they perceive as problematic. Not me tho I’ll give him a chance. I liked Kabir singh so I’ll try to watch Animal. But 75% of KS appeal was Bekhayali TBH

As for whether he will get his name up there with the Johar or Hirani Idk the anti Kabir Singh crowd will always try to bring him down with their nonsensical protests. Than again people said Shahid isnt a “protected” enough actor to get away with a film like Kabir Singh. Maybe Ranbir is

Too soon to call him a star director.

He does look like he has a lot of interesting ideas but they are just ideas and only when he can manage to transform those ideas into good films, we can label him anything close to a star director.

I just hope he's not all talk and no action. I'm excited for Animal so let's see how it goes.

Kabir Singh, if you leave aside the misogynic parts, was top-notch in terms of direction and screenplay. It had a very interesting flavour to it, something very unique and something which had the stamp of a creative thinker.

Bekhayali and the hit music just strengthened this flavour.

His interviews were also very interesting. The guy has a fresh perspective on things. I just hope he tones down the misogyny.

I mean did you ever watch Flight with Denzel Washington ? . It was just ripped of that. Especially that “I’m drunk now” diatribe. Don’t get me wrong I loved Kabir Singh. But It wasn’t some life changing film. It was the best film of 2029 for sure tho

Eww...I hope not.

Although there will always be people who like his kind of films, hope the type would fizzle out.

One trick pony.

The fact that he took two years of his life to make an exact copy of his film Arjun Reddy (which itself was heavily inspired from several films such as Flight) shows that he is not a very creative man.

The only reason Arjun Reddy/Kabir Singh was successful is because of its unabashed toxic masculinity and blatant misogyny. These aspects, which are repressed among many people, were glorified and presented in a glamorous manner, leading to its immediate acceptance.

He is already a huge star director. Kabir Singh was mania when it released. Audience is excited to watch the next film of the Kabir Singh director. That's why everyone is going gaga over Animal. Obviously Ranbir is a cherry on the cake. And this is just the announcement and people are going crazy over it. Just imagine the craze when the teaser, trailer, songs and eventually the film gonna come out. It's going to create history at the box office and Ranbir is going to be the top superstar of Bollywood after this film.
