yes. Its easily digestible for a more conservative set of audience i think. Its not preachy n yet gets the point across that how nonsensical some taboos are

I agree, comedy makes it more palatable for a certain section of the audience.

A middle class family from Delhi having a kid when they already have two grown up sons can go either way. The filmmakers gave it a comedic treatment. Hence, it worked.

If it was a serious drama then it wouldn't have worked as well as it did. Would have not done more than 55 crore.
