A R Rahman is one of the greatest musicians of all time and he has produced countless melodies and musical gems.

However, he has made thousands of songs. Some are bound to be bad, right?

Tell me the ones that annoy you.

Tbh, I only like a few of his songs, majority of them have too much of a South Indian flair for my taste

Jai ho - Slumdog Millionaire.

Pappu can't dance - Jaane tu ya jaane na.

Kisna title song.

I really don't understand what the previous poster meant about hating the South Indian influence in his music. The south Indian classical touches in Hai Rama from Rangeela took it to another level. For me, music has a language of its own which speaks directly to your heart. There's only songs you like and those you don't like. Nothing to do with South Indian or Caribbean or whatnot.

AR Rahman is actually not the composer of Kisna’s title song. He only composed the instrumentals in that movie and Hum Hain Iss Pal Yahan (which is my personal favourite from the film). Ismail Darbar composed all the songs in the movie minus the one mentioned :)

I love this topic. AR Rahman is one of my favorite composers but even he has songs that are just difficult for me to offer my ear to. For me the song is Humma Humma. I can sit through the video but if I had to listen to the audio alone, it would drive me crazy.
