Discussing I Hate Luv Storys

So...I recently watched I Hate Luv Stories and I quite liked Sonam's performance in this movie. She has portrayed the role of a girl with starry-eyed dreams and a hopeless romantic with spontaneous ease. One of her better performances.

Imran is not bad either.

So the movie is a total paisa vasool rom-com and the chemistry between the leads is pretty good.

I liked the way the movie plays out. But I am ambiguous as to why the movie is never named in top rom-coms of last decade? It's a very pleasant watch and the ending made me cry.

Love this song and the way Sonam expresses the nuances of falling in love

I remember watching this movie with my entire batch in college. It was so boring that we wanted to leave the theatres.. but ended up ridiculing all scenes.. It was bad.

Sonam's character was so confusing

She was in a so called perfect relationship with a boy named raj, then met irfan's character, the two had a great time AS FRIENDS then she got mad at him for dating a girl????🤪

I couldn't care less if these two people got together. She was unrealistic and clingy. He was selfish. Together they made a boring couple hard to root for. The director went on to do SOTY 2. I'll say he got the songs right in both the movies. But the characterization,script and logic flies out of the window.

Sonam stood out because Imran was pretty bad. He just cannot emote.

Overall, it was a good film. Great songs, relatable storyline and crisp screenplay.

The whole “haha look we are so cool poking fun at romantic cliches” thing would have worked ....had the actors displayed timing and wit to pull it off

I found myself yawing throughout

And sonam and Imran had no chemistry ...their chemistry was like a cold turkey sandwich from 7-11..no heat nothing

And sonams whiny dialogue delivery was just 😒...
