Who is the protagonist and the antagonist in Dhoom 2?

In Dhoom, Abhishek and Uday were the lead actors with much more screen time than John (though he stole the show). That makes them the protagonists and latter the antagonist in the film.

In Dhoom 3, Aamir had a much bigger role and more screentime than Abhishek and Uday. That makes him the protagonist of the film while the latter two are the antagonists.

But in Dhoom 2, Hrithik and Abhishek get equally important characters and screen time, making both of them the lead actors of the film.
Despite Hrithik overshadowing everyone in the film, Abhishek had an equally important role.

So who is the protagonist and the antagonist in Dhoom 2, considering they both were against each other in the whole film?

I think ... any chracter who's actions/decisions drive the film or plot line and continues to change the course of events in the film is the main Protagonist...so, I think its John , Hrithik and the shit movieie Dhoom 3 needs to mention...i could not stand Aamir's contistipated and poster child of bad acting for more than 1 hr.

Hrithik was the lead, his story was the main drive if the movie. Not necessary that every movie needs an antagonist, Abhishek was the supporting lead in the movie.

Only Dhoom one had a proper protagonist and antagonist theme.

Dhoom 2 was more of two leads in a back and through battle, with no clear protagonist and antagonist.

Dhoom 3 was an anti hero movie, with AB jr being reduced to a supporting role .

It was same as Dhoom 1 where the cops go after the thief with no one’s character being the central one . Dhoom 3 was the only movie in the series where there was an actual protagonist IMO

Sometimes male leads are the antagonist of the movie.that was dhoom3.i watched dhoom3 only I did not watch the earlier parts.

Aishwarya was the real antagonist. She cheats both Abhishek and Hrithik after winning their trust.

Aishwarya and Hrithik are both protagonists because the film focuses on their feelings and emotions, whereas the other characters are just used to take the narrative forward.
