Laaga Chunari Mein Daag (2007)

Has anyone watched the movie Laaga Chunari Mein Daag which released in 2007? Please share your reviews, if so.

I never got the opportunity to watch it but I've been meaning to watch it, if it's good. I love the songs and Rani-Konkona combination.

Oh must be really bad then. I've heard mixed reviews so far, tbh. Wanted to know from the forum members whether it's worth a watch.

Minor spoiler:

It may feel regressive now as compared with 2007. The decision taken by Rani might not be liked now, even then in 2007 it didn't work. Ending was romantic but unrealistic in depiction.

However I liked it but wasn't a strong movie. 6/10.

Loved the entire movie minus last 10mins.

Ok I understand why rani may have decided to take a step in the direction she did coz at that time she was in a desperate situation and her fam was unsupportive

But

Why did she continue on that path? Why couldn’t she have stopped doing that and become a model, actress or something that puts her good looks and grooming to good use ? or done something totally different...

I just didn’t understand why she tortured herself throughout the movie and her only “out” was a guy agreeing to marry her...even after she had lots of money and a house and all she continued doing what she didn’t like...😒

Things are not easy as it may seems to be. I completely understand her condition.

I loved Konkona and Kunal pairing in Aaja Nachle so I watched this movie only for them.

It was a decent watch not a that good of a movie, ending especially could've been better imo.

It's a nice movie. Not the best story, but the cast do a good job. I liked it when I first saw it. Rani and Abhishek really do have good chemistry.
