Unnecessary romantic angles for sure, along with songs that stick out oddly in the general story/set up of the film, and when big stars are cast though they don’t suit the role 🤷🏽‍♀️

Also the amount of groupism and “camps” there are... miss the days when people were given roles they truly suited and everyone worked together

Stereotypes and the need to stretch to a 3 hour movie by adding songs and dances when not required

Songs and dance sequences..I enjoyed them in childhood but not anymore. songs like in Piku without any dance number is acceptable for me.

Bollywood could be taken seriously by world if it was not for the unnecessary dance sequences.

Romance angle when not needed. This doesn't include movies like Gupt or Andhadhun or Badla where romance is part of the plot.

Shooting outside India.

Mother fixation masquerading as true love in romances. This I've seen as a major issue in Malayalam movies. Hero wants heroine who takes care of him like Mommy did. #blech

Side plot when not related to main plot.

Ludicrous dialogue/lyrics where hero/heroine praise himself/herself without a trace of irony. Don songs come to mind.
