Its suicidal for big movies to open with 50 % capacity .Small movies can survive however why would anyone risk their life to watch a small scale film in a pandemic .So cinemas should continue to suffer despite the reopening something like USA where every new release is proving a disaster.

Too bad Black Widow postponed. It could've been a perfect film for Bollywood to see if Indian audience will come out to watch a big film in theaters even during this pandemic.

Didn’t Tenet do OK though? I do think we all need to come to terms with this potentially being a long term thing and learning to be smart around it.

That was Christopher Nolan film though, who is a cult. His fans didn't care even about a pandemic because they are crazens of cinema and movies, or at least Nolan films. Do you think Indians would have the same enthusiasm to watch something like Sooryavanshi or 83 that they will risk their life for that?

Most of the audience who watches big Blockbusters in India are casual movie goers who only watch movies for time pass. They will not be eager enough to watch a film in theaters that too with gaps between seats, as that would be weird because movie watching is still considered a group outing.

Tenet did not do well in USA ..It is yet to cross 40 million there .This had a ripple effect on other biggies with each of them getting postponed!

I think the ticket price may be twice the usual rate.. They will charge you for two tickets for a single person.

The way restaurants are flooded even in the pandemic, I'm sure people will go out to watch movies too.🤪
