How authentic is K3G?

Can you immigrate your whole in laws family to the UK unless you are fleeing from a war torn country? This is the aspect of the movie which bugged me the most. I know there were other aspects as well such as showing UK as India and all that but this one takes the cake for me

Haha! K3G was a whole 19 years ago. Immigration laws have changed massively since. But actually, it’s not that unrealistic at all. The Raichands would have easily been able to get in via the ‘golden visa’ route. It’s basically an investor visa if you wish to invest £2mn or more in the UK. (They clearly had in excess of that) Fastest way to get residency and british citizenship.

But it wasn't the Raichands. It was Kajol's family plus SRK.

I am sure they could've gone on an investor visa, direct residency. Anjali was his spouse, so she was a Raichand. The remaining could've been dependants.

Arre but SRK surely had that kind of money to get in, did you see their house?!😆also on that visa you can bring family along too. Kajol was his wife and her sister would’ve been an eligible dependent.

Looking for authenticity in Kjo's movies is useless.

Who looks for authenticity in KJo movies.. I certainly dont.. Sure they do annoy me sometimes.. but I have made peace with it now.. These are my go to movies for guilty pleasure viewing.. They bring smile to my face whenever I am low, so its alright.. Not every movie has to be realistic.. And for the time that it was made, people didnt care much about logic.. Entertainment is what I get from K3G, so chalta hai..

Where was the immigration? He moved from Aylesbury to London. 😆 But yeh, unless he made a quick large bank transfer when he was kicked out, you couldn't come to London and afford a big house like that.

And Londoners didn't wear the silly costumes that Kareena was wearing. 😆
