In what can be seen via screenshots of the chat that were shown on Republic TV, Deepika asks 'K' if she has 'Maal', to which the latter replies saying she's not carrying it with her, but directs her to another person who has it.
The person named as 'D', who is allegedly Deepika, then makes it clear that she wants 'Hash' and not 'Weed'. There's also a 'Pleaseeeee' included, which leaves no space to assume the person in question was unsure of the move to procure her drug of choice.
Arnab is furious
Needless to say, a furious Arnab slammed the actress and called to boycott her films. He had several panelists on air who debated over the floating Bollywood drug theories that have recently been talk of the town. During the segment, Arnab not only shamed Deepika for drug abuse, he also made revelations about stars without naming them, but made it rather obvious, nevertheless. In what was clearly an attack on Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri Khan, he said, "There's another actor... a superstar... I won't name him, but he's always coked out of his head 24 x 7. He has an illegal bungalow facing the Arabian Sea and his wife too, is a drug addict." A hyper Arnab yelled, "I want to know where is Jaya Bachchan now?" He mentioned the actress's recent parliamentary speech in which she fiercely defended the movie industry and denied the accusation of Bollywood's seemingly prevalent drug culture. "I never talk without proof," Goswami assured; holding up sheets of paper that had the alleged leaked chats between Deepika and Karishma.The NCB is reportedly likely to summon Deepika soon. The actress is yet to give a statement on the matter.
