Do women really fall in love with old men like that? My grandfather married his second wife who is younger than my mom and I can say for a fact that she married him for the money

You cannot control who you fall in love with.......Whether it was momentary lust or love for who that person is usually the decider whether the two can remain together.....I am sure when you meet someone and realize they check most of the boxes you were looking for, what is your age is the last box.....As long as they are consenting adults, not married, not looking for adulterous affairs, I am sure you fall for who you fall.....Waise bhi real love aur reel love is not the same.......after romance comes life then bills then if they can handle life and the bills ......the age difference does not matter

But still paradoxically I dont like men swooning over ladies their daughter's age especially divorcees. It feels like they are targeting a particular age group........like why wouldnt you go out with some woman in her 50s.....because you want a PYT with you........

At the risk of sounding politically incorrect, I must say yes...majority fits into that mould..

While in extremely well read and accomplished men, the maturity could be the factor..

But more often than not, a pretty young thing won't consider a man old enough to be her dad unless he is wealthy . An old, balding and obese man has only money going for him

A few people do fall in love with people much senior to them. Ex, French president Macron...but in my circle, it has always been money...the women have made the men transfer a lot of property to their names either before or immediately after marriage..yes, the second wife needs security, but it is money that she has been looking for all along

Not blaming the women as it is a case of demand and supply

In such cases love is just a sham.....they both know what they are in for....the lady for the money, the man for the PYT and it is an exchange with the woman figuring hes anyway not going to live forever so will enjoy later and the man figuring I am not going to live forever might as well enjoy now. There is this case of two gay men one very old and one extremely young and how after his death everything was transferred to him and he is now a millionaire and its like well that is what the old man wanted, the old man got his pleasure, the young guy got the money to go and get his pleasure.......

If that woman married your grandfather for money, your grandfather also married her for her beauty and youth. It's a consensual barter between two grown adults, who's anyone to say anything?

P.S. Not forgetting that there is a chance that it may be genuine love also
