Chalte Chalte was way ahead of its time

It was released back in early 2000s when movies used to be the same generic love stories in which the lead characters get married and live happily ever after in the climax but this movie went ahead with highlighting the issues of married life. In ZNMD, we were told that you should be carefree and YOLO but in CC some real facts were spat about the married life and adulthood as a whole. You can't be carefree like Arjun became in ZNMD midway as it would lead to personal and relationship problems if you are too unserious.

More like the other movies around that time were way behind their time.

ZNMD was released in 2011 and the message of the movie was to be carefree which is devoid of any reality

No it wasn't. It was a regular love story. And the "misunderstanding" that happens in the film has been shown in all the TV shows that used to be telecast at that time. All the Ekta Kapoor shows.

Also, Saathiya released before Chalte Chalte and it was about a married couple. And it was a better film.
