1. Kangana is not getting attacked because she's a woman. She's getting attacked because she attacked someone who could strike back with equal or more ferocity.
You could consider it extremely brave or extremely foolish. But it is definitely more fool her if she imagined the same BW that she maligned would take her side on this. They have nothing to gain and everything to lose by supporting EITHER side. Therefore, I'm going to conclude the whole undertaking on her part was foolishness, not bravery though I'm sure she imagines it as such. Because an actually brave and clever woman would've been prepared for this very scenario.
2. Speaking against PM, government, or even country IS constitutional right last I checked. So is *not* supporting sociopaths. None of it has anything to do with feminism.
BW feminists have their problems, but *this* has nothing to do with their feminism or hypocrisy. *This* doesn't involve any fight for equal rights for women. In fact, their silence on the matter *is* equal treatment in a very peculiar way. I don't imagine they'd have taken sides if Salman were suddenly brave/fool enough to pick a fight with a Thackeray.
3. Therefore, the only one who stands exposed is Kangana herself. As someone who rushed in without having a clue what was going on. Someone who's now realizing she will lose. Someone who's trying to shame the same people she vilified constantly into supporting her. Someone who's next going to resort to tears and victimhood to garner support. Someone who's eventually going to get quiet after she figures out she won't succeed this time in bullying, manipulating, or blackmailing anyone into taking her side.
---------
If she'd had the sense and the sensitivity to not make it about herself, she would've at least had more public support. Sadly, she took SSR's death as a chance to settle scores. Public maybe an ass, but it's not that much of an ass not to see what's plain.
It *is* sad because the things she says about BW do need to be said. The exploitation of young girls, drugs, black money, etc. etc. Transparency would've done the place a whole lotta good. The toxicity of the messenger unfortunately makes the message muddled.
On this, you might consider feminism has a role to play. But Kangana is not doing this for women's rights from what I can see. She's doing this because nepotism or something. Ie, because *she* wasn't given enough importance. So for her to now cry feminism is hypocrisy. It is *she* who stands exposed. BW's hypocrisy has nothing to do with Kangana or her latest fight. They never pretended to be otherwise. Kangana did, and now, the emperor has no clothes.
