Then next day I came back to walk a little more and take the cable car -I think it was California street or was it Sacramento or something. That was a nice ride. But on market street close to post were the two guys kissing. Again-whatever your orientation is fine-just not in the streets in front of kids.

Fisherman's wharf was fun with the seals and also the Golden Gate bridge was fun to walk-but it was cold .

I'm sorry, but what? Gay people have right to kiss where ever the hell they want. You're in SF, one of the most prominent gay city in America. They have right to kiss just like straight people do.

Market is where most of the tourists are, I shoulda known. I've never understood the point of that cable car, people are always huddled around it but glad you enjoyed the ride.smiley36 There are always street performers doing their thing at random spots of Market street. Anyways, there's no censorship against kissing or making out in public, it's one of the most liberal cities. What's offensive by Indian standards isn't offensive in San Francisco. You're just gonna have to cover your eyes or turn the other way and take the detour. 😆

I've lived in SF for a year, and it was my favorite city. So many beautiful places around the city: Tiburon, incredibly diverse and historic black community in Oakland that is quickly getting gentrified; point reyes, Castro District has some of the best ice cream: Bi-Rite. I miss hanging out in Mission District at late night and eating Tacos.

That's where all the Indians lives. Beverly Hills, Santa Monica (where I live), Culver City, Silver Lake are 99% white and super racist hipter.

I've been to Arcadia and Beverly Hills, and Santa Monica too (Venice Beach). I thought a lot of the inner roads in LA looked similar to the East Bay inner roads here, and the freeway was wider in LA than in SF. I know there are lots of Asians in Arcadia but am not familiar with the other neighborhoods including Compton. Interesting to know that.

Most straight people will not kiss as passionately in front of children. Affection is one thing, full on kiss in front of children is a no no for most cultures and I have lived in America and Europe. Gay or straight-you don't do certain things when children are around. Now I grew up in small town in india where during my time, even husband and wife did not hold hands and walk together. But have lived in places, behavior in open especially with children around is a bit reserved.

I'm a workaholic and don't veer too far away from the financial district area, unfortunately. But I do know there are lots of restaurants and hangout spots. Sadly my company was gonna take us to Tiburon for a happy hour event but covid lockdown happened before that. Mission district is definitely everyone's go to for late nights.

Mentor?????? More like a sugar daddy.😆

Drugged her to prevent her from going to the police? Lol..... she didn’t involve police until he started hitting her. Till then, she was using him and he was using her. Just leave it at that.

I visited Oakland twice, while living in San Diego. Yeah..... there were Some homeless junkies on the streets and It’s the point for LGBT activities, but , it was also beautiful on the whole and tourist friendly. That was four years ago, though. May b it got worse in these last two years.

Oh man, sorry to hear that. I hope you can come back and enjoy it again. SF has so much to offer!

My neighbors back when I lived in SF were an old couple that had lived there since early 60s. They had so many stories!

The tech boost at SF really knocked majority of working and middle class families, and the high rents pushed out anyone that couldn't afford it. People were getting thrown out of their houses, and apartments. And this created a huge homeless problem (COVID is going to do the same). The liberal government did nothing to stop the rent hikes, instead they invited rich Chinese and Russians to buy up real estate. SF is still a great a city, but tech bros and foreign rich people ruined it completely.
