It could be that the earlier report was incorrect, or the locksmith is the same person, but goes by "Raffiq."

But republic tv is not stupid enough to lie about it when investigation is going on by cBI. When I asked the same question that guy asked me to use my brain and blocked me :(

And that's what I don't agree with. An accused should be treated like an accused ( means don't attack them but don't defend them either) until the final verdict comes out. Innocent till proven guilty or Guilty till proven innocent both are wrong

Thats great in principle but in reality people make false/wild accusations all the time. A person can't be judged just based on an accusation.

Accused and innocent are different words with different meanings.

An accused is NOT always innocent. Unless we are all citizens of Utopia. 😆

Seriously? Interesting reaction to a reasonable question.

Anyway, I don't think Republic TV would be lying either. If these are two different people, it could be that this Raffiq person just wants to be on television. Or, if you are into conspiracies, someone put him forward to play the keymaker and back up the narrative.

I would hope that any television networks would verify his identity before putting him on the air though. Also, wouldn't the real keymaker would come forward? It seems most likely that (1) the original article was wrong, (2) he goes by two different names, or (3) he is trying to hide his identity by using a different name on television, which would be quite understandable given the circumstances.

Seems like Pitani n Dipesh are staying at a place supervised by CBI. Saw Pitani carrying a bag and an officer was escorting him.
