I've never seen such a negative reaction to any trailer. 59K dislikes and only 123 k likes....means dislikes are almost half of likes, which is rare.

Some of the comments below the trailer video are gems:

"Me before watching this trailer : she is sridevi s daughterAfter watching : she is arjun kapoor's sister!! 😜 😜 😜 😜

"I would rather cancel my subscription instead watching this. Stop casting these non-expressive, non talented crap."

"Where is her expressions? oh she might have left it in her makeup boxđŸ™ˆđŸ‘»"

"Are we gonna ignore the fact that Netflix has an extra marital affair with Janhvi Kapoor and is cheating on Radhika Apte ?đŸ™„đŸ˜€đŸ˜‚đŸ˜‚"

So is this the start of the revolution in BW? Looks like public is not going to take crap lying down...and is expecting a certain standard of acting which the nepokids lack.

Well this was the same during Dhadak trailer reaction and it went on to be a hit at the box office. No one cares about youtube views and comments if you see the kind of films making money at the box office. All these rants are pretty useless since the real movie going janta doesn't give a damn to what people say on twitter, youtube and IF. This revolution is as big as Kangana being a hit in Aap Ki Adaalat and Simran becoming a disaster in the same weekend. Now you do the math.

Also with films releasing online, how exactly does one boycott a film? There's no proof of whether a film is a hit or flop in digital. The makers can put up any numbers without being cross checked for their marketing. Is there any way to cross check Hotstar's claim of Dil Bechara becoming the highest opening ever on digital? Given how views are counted on these sites like Hotstar, Netflix, etc?

This is just mere joblessness of us sitting at home during corona and nothing else. No one cared, no one cares.

I didn't like the trailer at all but the reaction was stronger with more dislikes than likes during YouTube vs TikTok

No, people were really supportive of her during dhadak because of Sridevi's death

And yes it's true, people's opinion just doesn't count. If it did then these shitty remakes of amazing songs wouldn't have crossed millions. Logo ko gaali bhi deni hai aur dekhna bhi hai😆

A little birdie from the blind circle says that papa has disowned beti for the atrocious acting in the trailer of a film papa was very excited about so papa has now decided to take everything on his own hands and join the industry himself as an insider outsider and will soon go to chat shows shouting how he begged for roles and the struggles he faced as a struggling insider. Gtg now , have to spice up my PR image and practice my 🙏.

Jhanvi is a poor actress. Content is good, but she has absolutely no right to be in this film on merit of talent.

With everything going on, the backlash will be worse especially regarding star kids being casted in unsuitable roles. Why not give an actual talented actress a chance?. Why are so many good actresses struggling in bw to get roles? In her second film, she gets such a role when she doesn’t deserve it in the slightest bit.

I watch a lot of movies in theatre because I like it but haven't since lockdown, don't feel like watching films in theatre and giving money to these jerks anymore though after what happened so I won't.
