If she had a genuine fanbase among the masses, then this badnaami would have never happened in the first place. The way she unanimously got called out from all over the world only exposed how little people actually love her.

Look at Salman Sanjay and even Kangana ~ ek number ke psychos and even though they get hate, utna hi love bhi milta hai from fans. Who would have imagined that one day Alia Bhatt would have had to turn off her comments section 😆

Papa Kjo will of course fight tooth and nail to rebuild their brand but after so much worldwide humiliation, their egos are scarred forever. Can you imagine getting called out left and right from literally everybody? Itni badnaami oh my gosh it's a historical moment!

He so bad wanted success for her through tactic play, that I’m sorry but if his reputation is scarred, she went along for the ride. She was never an independent actress, and she’s paying for it now-it’s evident through the backlash she gets today. Because if people were truly upset over sushants death, there are a set of other actresses who have been “rude”. And no it’s not because she is a bigger star.

if the industry is being more mindful about how they are treating outsiders vs insiders. Her brand value obviously won’t be completely wrecked but it will be diluted. Everything wrong with nepotism, lobbying, favoritism is transparent though her and that image is never going away for her unless she changes her image and how she goes about in the industry.

I agree. Also, the space of top actress which she has occupied with her brand of manufactured stardom is being exposed as hollow today. People are seeing through her success and they have turned against her in huge numbers. She is being seen as the symbol of unapologetic and shameless nepotism.

Yes, but not as drastically as Deepika's.

This backlash just proved that how much of not so organic stardom she has.

Yes of course both the nepotism debate and her Dad's comments on Sushant's demise contributed to it

We have to see if she can have success post this.
