Sonu Sood and Kanagana Ranaut have been good friends for a long time and she even launched the music of film he produced. whatever differences they had they seemed to have resolved it though both of them gave different reasons for Sonu Sood leaving the film.

From what I have read, there are two different reasons why he left the film.

First is with the continuity issue of the character he was playing and the second was that he did not want to work on a film that had two directors.

Kanagana Ranaut said that he did not want to work with a female director.

However he did say that Kanagana Ranaut will remain his friend though he did hint he might not work with her again. KR too said Sonu Sood is a friend.
