What attracts you more? Looks or acting?

Cinema is a visual medium, and looks are very important, like it or not.

I have come across many posts wherein we have discussed about actors/actresses who look good but are not that great actors & vice versa. So I wanted to know what attracts you more : the looks or acting? and why?

For example, if you had to choose whom would you want to see on screen: Vidya Balan or Katrina Kaif?

Salman or Shah Rukh Khan?

I find everyone in bollywood goodlooking so.... obviously some people are more goodlooking than others though.

It needs to be a combination of charm and acting. Looks really don't matter to me. Some of the most good looking (based on "beauty standards") actors are bland on screen.

Earlier it was looks not acting

For me, even if someone is average-looking but has charm and screen presence, then that's good enough. For example, Shahrukh Khan isnt good looking but his charm has no bounds.

There has to be a balance of both.

Well it's charm and acting which matters to me, not their looks, because looks of most of bw actors/actresses are fake. So, I don't believe in looks, it's acting and his charm, I all see.

acting and dialogue delivery(which of course is a part of acting).I am a sucker for actors with great dialogue delivery.

One thing I find unnecessary in movies is dancing. I don't care about good dancers. I don't care about bad dancers as long as their acting and looks impress me.

A mixture. If an actor is good but not attractive in some kind of way , I kind of lose interest. If an actor is only attractive, that doesn’t do much.

also being attractive to me is much more than looks, it has to do with charm, and personality too. That special x factor
