What attracts you more? Looks or acting? - Page 3

It all depends on the actors role. He/She has to live the character. I was so excited for the movie Ra.One but look how disaster it turn out. I was so excited for Krrish 2, look how bad it was. Look at Taare Zameen Par, and look how amazing it turn out. The kid stole the show, was he the best looking Kid?? No but his actor was Brilliant. He and Aamir lived the character. Look at M.S. Dhoni Sushant had this huge responsibility to Play Dhoni and he did a brilliant job. No matter how good looking or bad looking you are, if you haven't done your homework the movie will tank.

I prefer overall packages like Sridevi. She had dancing, acting, beauty all of the above. I have given other examples like Charlene Theron, Leonardo, to Juhi. I prefer average looking actors if they are genuinely talented like Tapsee. If their talent is not just something that is hyped up by insiders

Looks matter to the extent that the person does not look like he hasn't bathed for months

Acting matters to the extent that I start feeling for the character

I like anything which pleases me, it can be looks, style, charm, acting and so on. I personally don't have a criteria.

Looks attract but acting makes me want to stay.

Unfortunately BW is such an industry where good looking people cant act and the actors who can actually act arent the best looks . Only Hrithik Roshan is an exception

Good looks , good looks and good looks

I'm shallow, so yes looks make the most impression upon me. That said, if a person can't act or is bland onscreen, I wouldn't care about them. So overall, it's a combination of the two.

Talent mostly. Like everyone else said, reasonably good looking person can go very far if they have a good talent and on screen charm.

Most of these 'beautiful' actors I have admired in their best films, but cannot be their fan because of their limited talent.
